From the time I was 3 I've been going to Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times. It is camp for children with or who have had cancer, their siblings and families. It truly is a magical place. The staff and fellow campers have become like a family to me. I know that whenever I'm at camp I'm going to have a good time. I am now 16 going on 17...camp has been a major part of my life for 14 years now. I have seen many changes occur in the years I have been going, both good and bad. I have also seen what a difference it can truly make in some lives. The staff is amazing. The love and support they provide is like nothing you could ever imagine. The other campers, because each of us is so unique, always have a kind word to say and a special story to share. I know that without camp in my life I would be a very different person than who I am today. This blog is going to be my way to say thanks and give back to a place that truly is and will forever be a part of me. Photos in order: Hollywood and I Family Camp, Serena and I Winter Camp 2006, and Amy, Me and Jamey(Tadpole) Summer 2008
